Wow. Just wow. It's reaaaaally a stretch to say that the circle (with the top half darkened) represents a lowercase "e". After looking at the the 340 "evidence" image in its entirety, just two words...

I will have to go to my copy of the book in a few and see if he even explains the 340 "solution" I do think he said his literary agent was impressed when Stewart "found" his dad's name in the 408 or...

Ok, it's on pp. 324-325 of the book. His agent looked at the various B's in the 340 until he found one that was next to an E that was next to an S that was next to a T and he found Best spelled...
